Marcia's Poem of the Week 5.27.2022
Marcia's Poem of the Week 5 27 2022 “A GLIMPSE OF BELIEF”
I drove my Mother to an appointment. We were passing a
church with a huge stained glass window of Jesus sitting in a scene surrounded
by nature. My Mother pointed at the window and said, "I talk to Him
everyday." I then knew she believed and my heart was warmed.
Sunday's scripture reference was Psalm 19:1-4 “For the choir
director: A psalm of David. 1. The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The
skies display his craftsmanship. 2. Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known. 3. They speak without a sound or
word; their voice is never heard. 4. Yet their message has gone throughout
the earth, and their words to all the world.”
A GLIMPSE OF BELIEF Psalm 19: 1-4
A church was on the corner,
Of a street where Mother lived,
She never went there ever,
To worship or to give.
But she pointed up at Jesus,
On the stained-glass window there,
In belief that His spirit's
purpose,
Would bring love and faith to
share.
As the stained-glass
displayed,
God's creation for all to
see,
Flowers in every color
bloomed,
By a stream under a shade tree.
The Lord's face in a warm
glow,
Shone bright under blue skies,
And the sun-rays from the window,
Glistened in my Mother's eyes.
---------
God's creation is on every corner,
His sun-rays glisten into each
eye,
His warm glow is for every sinner,
And will bring love and faith
alive.
Begin living in God's
creation,
Believe He is always the
same,
Accept His love as a precondition,
To cleansing you of every stain.

Poem of the week by Marcia for
my great grandsons: Jeremiah, Tobiah and Elijah
Families are decreed by God,
As the best gift God has to
give,
They make you who you are,
And show you how to live.
Children are given parents,
To love with their heart,
Parents are given children,
To love from the start.
The world is God's
excellence,
All of life comes from Him,
He keeps His watch over us,
Making our place, herein.
All creation is about
living,
No matter what you do,
The Lord does all the
giving,
For creation and for you.
It's God's plan we'll
inherit,
It's His Son that gives new life,
When we receive His Holy Spirit,
He'll guide us to do things right.
