Marcia's Poem of the Week 3.25.2022

Matthew 7:24-29 NLT “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.

BE ESTABLISHED Matthew 7:24-29 NLT

Read Jesus’ words,

And practice His walk,

And wisely build,

Your house on rock,

When the storms come,

And the streams flow,

Your house will stand,

As torrential rains blow.

Ignore Jesus’ words,

Heed not His command

And foolishly build,

Your house on sand,

When the storms come,

And the streams flow,

Your house will fall,

As torrential rains blow.

Poem for my great grandsons: Jeremiah, Tobiah and Elijah

TOUGH DECISIONS Luke 16: 1-15

May we not be slothful,

May we work for good,

May we use what we have,

To love others as we should.

May we be faithful,

Committed to the task,

To be the kind of stewards,

That will do as God asks.

May we take our resources,

The many that we have,

To use for God's purposes,

And make Him glad.
