 Poem of the Week by Marcia 3/18/22 CHOSEN 

You are chosen by God! “Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.” Ephesians 1:4. John 3:16 New Living Translation 16 “For this is how God loved the (you) world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 

CHOSEN 

You're not forgotten, you've been chosen,

God's been with you through the years,

He made you His person, unbroken,

With blessings and joy that ends fears.

He made His covenant with you that day,

When you gave your heart to Him,

He will always show you His way,

He'll be with you through to the end.

In times of danger you were spared,

And you have His word to remind you,

In times of need He showed He cared,

And He is forever there beside you.

And you'll have a new beginning,

When you go home to the heaven high,

He'll fill your life with joy and singing,

Until you meet Him there in the sky.

Poem for my great grandsons:  Jeremiah, Tobiah and Elijah

YOU ARE CHOSEN

This is a boy story, 

And that little boy is you, 

Though you may not know it, 

God guides what you do.

He uses night for sleeping, 

As a sign to go to bed, 

Telling you play time's over, 

Go rest your sleepy head.

When the morning sun rises, 

You know to get dressed, 

And prepare for surprises, 

But first you eat breakfast.

You can hardly wait to start,

And there's so much to do,

And then it's time to play,

As play-time beckons you.

God sees how you play too, 

And He sees how you share, 

And He loves all you do, 

When you treat others fair.

God sees that you're smart,

And sees your desire for new things, 

His blessings are the best part, 

Of what rest and play brings.
