Marcia's Poem of the Week 1.14.2022

“Visitors climb up the 400 steps to the top for a stunning 360 degree panoramic view of Copenhagen and beyond.  Church of Our Savior was built in 1696 and has been Christianshavn district’s parish for over 300 years.” (theworldisabook)

Poem of the Week by Marcia “Watchtower” Poem written in regard to Habakkuk 2:1-2 NLT. “I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guard post. There I will wait to see what the Lord says and how he will answer…” Then the Lord replied: write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so the herald may run with it.”

Watchtower Habakkuk 2:1-2 NLT

We will climb up to the Watchtower and stand,
And patiently guard and claim what we believe,
And when Christ returns to the land,
There our redemption will be conceived.

Invite the lost to come to the Watchtower,
Let people know that the Holy Spirit is here,
Invite them to appeal to Him in holy prayer,
Receive His salvation and welcome His care.

In the Watchtower you'll receive Christ's grace,
And soon you'll come to enjoy His style,
And you'll feel holiness in this quiet place,
As you sit at His feet and worship Him awhile,

For the world is full of sin and stress,
But joy is found in being still and trusting,
Come, clean your mind of sinfulness,
And take some time for resting.

Come write down Christ's revelation,
And run to deliver it to all the world,
Delight in Christ's glory and inspiration,
In order to spread the power of His Word.

Poem For My Great Grandsons
WATCHTOWER

Christ's Watchtower,
Has His love and truth,
Where we are made aware,
Of His watchful care,
Over all of the earth.

His hands are many and different,
They labor night and day,
And in time we'll understand,
The purpose of His plan,
And the wonder of His way.

His listening ears hear us,
The praise and the cry,
And to every living thing,
Abundantly He'll bring,
His peaceful mercy nigh.

His eyes watch and search,
Continuously focused on life,
Patiently He calls to thee,
For He eventually,
Will end struggle and strife.

His hands, eyes and ears,
Are eagerly unfurled,
All-powerful they be,
Available to you and me,
Everywhere in the world.
