Marcia's Poem of
the Week for 10.29.2021
Isaiah 43:1-2 -
“But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who
formed you says, Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you
by name; you are mine.” 2: When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through
the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume
you.” (New Living Translation)
FEAR NOT
He has called you
by name,
Because you belong
to Him.
He created and
formed you,
And cleansed your
heart of sin.
He'll go with you
through deep waters,
And through the
rivers too.
He'll go with you
through the fires,
And they'll not
sweep over you.
He will keep you
for Himself,
Even from far away,
And redeem you from
evil,
You will witness
His way.
He'll do this because
He loves you,
For He is the
Ancient of Days.
You need not fear
your future,
For in His Glory
you've been made.
